Reginald Roundtree - June 22, 2008

Master Sergeant Reginald Dewayne Roundtree, 44, of Jacksonville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Naval Hospital aboard Camp Lejeune.

Reginald was the fourth of six children born in Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Dothan High School in 1982 and upon graduation, entered into the United States Marine Corp. He retired from the United States Marine Corps in May 2007 after 25 years of dedicated service. While in the Marine Corp, he received numerous awards and commendations.

Reginald will be forever cherished by: his WIFE of 25 years, Stephanie Mathis Roundtree of the home; 1 SON, Reginald Roundtree, Jr., 2 DAUGHTERS, Tikeria Roundtree and Samantha Roundtree all of Jacksonville; his MOTHER, Rene Roundtree of Willingboro, New Jersey, 1 BROTHER, Zarvar Roundtree (Stacey) of Antioch, California; 3 SISTERS, Jacqueline Hinson of Norfolk, Virginia, Nicola Roundtree of Richmond, Virginia and Tamika Roundtree of Willingboro, New Jersey; 5 BROTHERS-IN-LAW; 6 SISTERS-IN-LAW; and a host of NEPHEWS, NIECES, COUSINS, CO-WORKERS, CLASSMATES, DEAR FRIENDS and his beloved UNITED STATES MARINE CORP.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Williamsburg Parkway, Jacksonville, from 6-8 PM.

Homegoing Celebration will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Base Protestant Chapel aboard Camp Lejuene with Chaplain Marc Massie, Officiating and the Rev. Joseph M. Morgan, Eulogist. Interment with full military honors will follow at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville.

His remains are resting peacefully in the care and comfort of Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., Jacksonville, North Carolina (910)347-9595.
