William Bryant, 86, of 205 Frazier Town Road, the Harlowe Community,
Havelock, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at
Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern.
William was a veteran of the United States Army, serving honorably in
World War II. He was employed with Beaufort Fisheries for over 45 years.
William will be forever cherished by: his BELOVED WIFE, Delilah Godette
Bryant of the home; his CHILDREN, Cherry Lee Frazier (Nellie), William
Bryant, Sr. (Diane), Dolly Bryant, Keith Bryant (Jacqueline), Thomasa
Godette, Frederick Bell (Cathie), Michael Bryant, Prentice Bryant and
Ashley Bryant (Glorianna) all of Havelock, Lula Washington (John) of
Maryland, Percy Godette (Denise) of Newport, Tamara Bryant of Winterville
and Judy Ortiz (Joshua) of Manassass, Virginia; 35 GRANDCHILDREN; 26
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; 3 BROTHERS, Alvin Bryant (Lessie), Lewis Frazier and
Cornell Frazier (Aletha); 3 SISTERS, Claretta Godette, Errie Martin and
Jessie Elliott (Mark); 1 AUNT, Mazella Bell; 6 SISTERS-IN-LAW; 7
BROTHERS-IN-LAW; and a host of NEPHEWS, NIECES, COUSINS, other relatives
and dear friends.
The family will be receiving their friends and guest at the residence.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012, from 10AM-2PM at
Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West Street, New Bern.
Homegoing Service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM in
the Craven Corner Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bakari D.
Johnson, Pastor, Officiating. Entombment with military honors will
immediately follow the service in the Bryant Family Cemetery.
William's earthly remains are resting peacefully in the care, comfort and
serenity of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., New Bern (252)637-5141.
