Ronnie Scott - May 11, 2012

Ronnie Lee Scott, 63, of 1403 Tuscarora-Rhems Road, New Bern, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

He attended Virgin Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was educated in the Craven County Public Schools. He was employed for many years in Detroit, Michigan as a welder in the automotive industry.

Ronnie will be forever cherished by: 5 SISTERS, Martha Scott of Pollocksville, Nancy Bryant (Johnnie) and Ruth McGirth (William) both of New Bern, Mary Phillips (Jerry) and Fannie Burns (Frankie) both of Fayetteville; 1 BROTHER, Willie Lee Scott of New Bern; 1 UNCLE, George Murphy (Hattie) of New Bern; 5 NEPHEWS; 7 NIECES, and a host of COUSINS, other relatives and dear friends including Tanya of Detroit, Michigan.

The family will be receiving their friends and guest at the residence of his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Johnnie Bryant, 1317 Tuscarora-Rhems Road, New Bern.

Viewing will be held on Saturday at the Chapel one hour prior to the service.

Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc. 701 West Street, New Bern, with the Rev. Cecil Brown, Officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Scott Cemetery.

Ronnie's earthly remains are resting peacefully in the care, comfort and serenity of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., New Bern (252)637-5141.
