Gladys Mae Brown Perkins, 75, of 189 Killis Murphy Rd., Pollocksville, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at her residence.

Gladys graduated from the Jones County Public Training School in Trenton.

Gladys will be forever cherished by: 2 GRANDCHILDREN, Latasha Franks of Fayetteville and Damon Franks of New Bern; 1 BROTHER, Benjamin Brown (Alice) of Pollocksville; 4 SISTERS, Rosemary Narcisse and Vivian Brown both of East Orange, New Jersey, Vida Stang of Cliffside Park, New Jersey and Rachel Brown of Charlotte.

Viewing will be held on Tesday at the church one hour prior to the service.

Homegoing Service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Freewill Chapel FWB Church with the Elder Angelo Brown, Pastor, Officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Haiti Cemetery, Trenton.

Gladys' remains are resting peacefully in the care, comfort and serenity of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West St., New Bern (252)637-5141.
