Rev. Dorene Janette King, 56, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 28, 2012.

She was a graduate of Octorara High School, Rhema Seminary College and Norfolk Seminary College. She was a veteran of the United States Army. She was founder and Overseer of New Beginnings Apostolic Faith Ministries, Inc.

Dorene will be forever cherished by: her HUSBAND of 36 years, Overseer Bishop Joseph King; 1 SON, Minister Joe A. King of Jacksonville; 1 DAUGHTER, Elderess Miracle M. King; her PARENTS, James C. Mills, Sr. and Doris V. Mills; 2 BROTHERS, Wallace Mills and James Mills, Jr.; 4 SISTERS, Robin Mills, Tina Johnson, Joan Durham and Denise Mason; 1 GODDAUGHTER, Dawn Tinnin; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Homegoing Service was held Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Endtime United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Church, Norfolk, Virginia and on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at United Methodist Church of Parkesburg, followed by the Interment.
