Walter White - May 02, 2010

Walter "Jack" Nathaniel White, 68, of Trenton, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 02, 2010 at his residence.

A native of Jones County, Walter received his schooling throughout North Carolina and later moved to Brooklyn, New York where he was employed as a Bus Driver. Upon retirement, he moved back to Trenton.

"Jack" will be forever cherished by: his BELOVED WIFE of 47 years, Ella Horton White of the home; 1 SON, Jabar Reed of Brooklyn, New York; 1 DAUGHTER, Diane Broadnax (Steve) of Savannah, Georgia; 4 GRANDCHILDREN; 5 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; 4 BROTHERS, Charles White of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Oscar White of Jamiaca, New York, William White (Bridgette) of Pollocksville and Gregory mack (Luvinia) of Pembroke, North Carolina; 4 SISTERS, Susie Harvey (James) of the Brices Creek Community, Christine Farrow (Zeandrew) of Fayetteville, Odessa White and Mary McCoy (Lang) both of New Bern; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving their friends and guest at 2376 Highway 58 South, Trenton.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 06, 2010 from 10:30-10:55AM in the Memorial Chapel of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, 701 West Street, New Bern.

Homegoing Service will follow the Viewing and Visitation at 11:00 AM also in the Memorial Chapel with the Pastor Michael Pretty, Officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Bryant Family Cemetery, the Tuscarora Community, New Bern.

His remains are resting peacefully in the care and comfort of: Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., New Bern, North Carolina (252)637-5141.
