Rochester Midgette King, 69, of New Bern, entered into eternal rest on
Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Two Rivers Healthcare Facility-Trent Campus.
A native of Aurora, Rochester attended the Beaufort County Schools and
graduated from S.W. Snowden High School. He retired from Norfolk Drudging
Company of Chesapeake, Virginia, after 18 1/2 years of dedicated service.
Rochester will be forever cherished by: 2 DAUGHTERS, Mary Anne King of
Aurora and Ethel Pearl Wells (Rev. Paul) of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; 16
GRANDCHILDREN; 14 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; 2 BROTHERS, James King of New Bern
and Herman King of Butler; 2 SISTERS, Betty Mitchell (Ira) of New Bern and
Ardissa Wright of Pantego; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving their friends and guest at 2906 Magnolia
Drive, the Southgate Community, New Bern.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 12Noon-6PM at
Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West Street, New Bern and on
Wednesday at the Chapel one hour prior to the service.
Homegoing Service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 12Noon in
the Memorial Chapel of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev.
Adell King, Officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in
Evergreen Cemetery.
