Norman Lanham- May 21, 2010
Norman Ray Lanham, 70, of Havelock, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 21, 2010 at his residence while surrounded by loving family members
and friends.
He was a member of both the United States Marine Corp. and the United
States Navy. During his Vietnam Service, Norman received 3 Bronze Stars
and the Navy Commendation with Combat V. He retired after 19 years of
service as a Long distance Truck Driver with First National Supermarkets.
He was a member of the Teamster's Union Local 559 where he received
recognition of 15 years for Safe Driving. His last employment was with
Gainey Transportation.
Norman will be forever cherished by: 2 SONS, Joseph Lanham and James
Lanham; 4 DAUGHTERS, Carol Ann Lanham, Pamela Lanham, Donna Coolbeth and
Daniell Baysden; 12 GRANDCHILDREN; and other relatives and dear friends.
Homegoing Service will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 12 Noon in the
Coastal Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery, 101 Montford Point Road,
Jacksonville. Interment with military honors will immediatley follow the
service.
Norman's earthly tabernacle is resting peacefully in the care and comfort
