Mary Wesley - April 14, 2010

Mary "Maryma" Elizabeth Fonville Wesley, 93, of Cove City, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern.

She was a member of Rio Grande Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years where she served on the Mother's Board, the Craven County Missionary Union, the Better Community Club of Asbury and the Sick Committee. She was employed as a Cook with the Craven County School System for over 40 years.

Mary will be forever cherished by: 2 SONS, Charlie Wesley (Doris) and George Wesley; 3 DAUGHTERS, Susanna Speed of Cove City, Barbara Jackson (James) of the home and Martha Wesley of Vanceboro; 16 GRANDCHILDREN; 38 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; a host of GREAT-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; 1 SISTER, Celia Wilson of Jacksonville; other relatives, church members, her community and dear friends.

The family will be receiving thier friends and guest at the residence, 2332 Dover Road, Cove City.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 10AM-2PM at Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West Street, New Bern and on Sunday in the Auditorium one hour prior to the service.

Homegoing Service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the West Craven High School Auditorium with the Rev. Marcus Miller, Officiating and the Rev. Fred Manley, Eulogist. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Wesley Cemetery.
