 Rev. Matthew Moore, Sr. - May 15, 2010
Rev. Matthew Moore, Sr., formerly of Jacksonville, entered into eternal
rest in Florida. Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010
at 11:00 AM in the Lake Ida Church of Christ, Delray Beach, Florida with
the interment following in Pineview Cemetery. Family visitation will be
held on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 6-9PM also at the church.
He served in the United States Air Force. As a minister, he served and
established congreagations in Florida, New York and Jacksonville, North
Carolina. He was the minister of Bell Fork Church of Christ for over 15
years and established the first Meals-On-Wheels program in the
Jacksonville area.
Rev. Moore will be forever cherished by: his WIFE, Nan Moore of the home;
2 SONS, Matthew Moore, Jr. of the home and Jeffrey Moore of Tampa,
Florida; 3 DAUGHTERS, Felicia Moore of Charlotte, Cheryl John of Buffalo,
New York and Beverly Moore-Johnson of Orlando, Florida; and a host of
GRANDCHILDREN; GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; other relatives and friends.
