 Marsha Lockhart- March 07, 2010
Marsha Rae Hatchell Lockhart, 55, of Jacksonville, entered into eternal
rest on Sunday, March 07, 2010 at the Duke University Hospital in Durham.
She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1974 and worked Civil
Service aboard Camp Lejeune. She was a member of both Evening View
Missionary Baptist Church and New Vision Missionary Baptist Church.
Marsha will be forever cherished by: 1 SON, Bakari Lockhart of Greenville;
2 DAUGHTERS, Delshawn Slaughter of Jacksonville and Trinna Slaughter of
Morrisville; 2 GRANDDAUGHTERS; 3 SISTERS, Geraldine Page (Thomas) and
Jessie Mae Elliot both of Jacksonville and Brenda Mimes (S.T.) of
Pineville, Louisianna; 1 BROTHER, Richard Hatchell, Jr. of Jacksonville;
and a host of NEPHEWS, NIECES, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 7-8PM at Morgan
Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Williamsburg Parkway, Jacksonville and on Friday
at the Headquarters Building one hour prior to the service.
Homegoing Service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the
Trent River Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters
Building, the Georgetown Commnity, with the Elder Roderick Lynch,
Officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Georgetown
Memorial Park.
