Goldie Wallace - August 18, 2010

Goldie Elizabeth Oden Wallace, 95, of the Adams Creek Community, Havelock, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Carteret General Hospital, Morehead City.

She was a devoted homemaker and a member of St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

Goldie will be forever cherished by: 1 DAUGHTER, Lena Becton Felton (Rudolph) of the North River Community, Beaufort; 6 GRANDCHILDREN; 9 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; 1 SISTER, Lillie McCoo of Havelock; 1 BROTHER-IN-LAW, William Becton of Havelock; NEPHEWS, NIECES, COUSINS, other relatives and dear friends.

The family will be receiving friends and their guest at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Lena and Rudolph Felton, 160 Laurel Road, the North River Community, Beaufort.

Viewing will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Church one hour prior to the service.

Homegoing Service will also be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with the Bishop Melvin Walker, Pastor, Officiating. Entombment will immediatley follow the service in the Zion Temple A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery.

Goldie's earthly remains are resting peacefully in the care, comfort and serenity of: Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West Street, New Bern (252)637-5141.
