Gordon Jones - April 04, 2010

Gordon Lee "God Lee" Jones, 67, of Cove City, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 04, 2010 at Carolina East Medical Center.

He attended New Bold High School, was employed as a master fence builder and a member of Bryant Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.

Gordon will be forever cherished by: 1 DAUGHTER, TaShauna Stuart of Norfolk, Virginia; 4 SISTERS, Lucille Gatling, Elizabeth Lofton, Velma Crouell (Shirley) and Sarah Jones all of Cove City; and a host of other relaitves and dear friends including Pamela Moore.

The family will be receiving their friends and guest at 332 Green Road, Trenton.

Viewing will be held on Thursday at the church one hour prior to the service.

Homegoing Service will be held on Thursday, April 08, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Bryant Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church with the Rev. Brian T. Corneilus, Pastor, Officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Core Creek Cemetery.

His remains are resting peacefully in the care and comfort of: Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West Street, New Bern, North Carolina (252)637-5141.
