 Eva Adams - May 13, 2010
Eva Gibbs Adams, 97, of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of New Bern, entered
into eternal rest on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Hospice of Atlanta.
She was a faithful member of St. Peters A.M.E. Zion Church for over 80
years where she was a member of the Choir and active in other
organizations within the Church. She retired from the Craven County School
System where she was a teacher with 42 years of dedicated service. She was
a member of the Climbers Club and the Owlettes.
Eva will be forever cherished by: 1 DAUGHTER, Vivian Huggins of Atlanta;
3 GRANDCHILDREN; other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 1PM-6PM at
Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West Street, New Bern and on Friday
at the church one hour prior to the service.
Eva's Homegoing Service will be conducted on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 10AM
in the St. Peters A.M.E. Zion Church, 617 Queen Street, New Bern, with the
Rev. Dwain Murphy, Pastor, Officiating and the Rev. Robert Johnson,
Eulogist. Interment will immediately follow the service in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Her earthly remains are resting peacefully in the care and comfort of:
