Dorothy Johnson - March 18, 2010

Dorothy Lee Johnson, 74, of Durham, formerly of 1619 Lincoln Street, New Bern, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Enopoint Assisted Living Facility.

She was a lifetime member of Clinton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church serving on the Stewardess Board, the Kitchen and Pastor's Aide Committees. She retired from employment with the Craven County School System after 38 years of dedicated service as a Cook with various schools throughout the System.

Dorothy will be forever cherished by: 1 SISTER, Lula Marie Ellison of Vanceboro; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Monday at the Church one hour prior to the service.

Homegoing Service will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Clinton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church with the Presiding Elder, Rev. William L. Wainwright, Officiating, Eulogist. Interment will immediately follow the service in Evergreen Cemetery.

Her remains are resting peacefully in the care and comfort of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West Street, New Bern, North Carolina (252)637-5141.
