Annie Scott - March 27, 2010

Annie Lee Fox Scott, 82, formerly of the Tuscarora-Rhems Community, New Bern, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Two Rivers Healthcare Facility-Neuse Campus.

A native of Darlington, South Carolina, Annie has lived in New Bern for almost 65 years. She was a member of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist church for 62 years where her membership included: Deaconess Board, Usher Board, Community Service Committee and worked with the Youth Department group, the Pathfinders.

She was preceded in death by: her HUSBAND, George F. Scott; 2 SONS, Nicholas C. Scott, Sr. and Kenneth K. Scott.

Annie will be forever cherished by: 1 SON, Larry Scott (Sharon) of Clinton, Maryland; 5 DAUGHTERS, Betty Rouse and Gwedolyn Miller both of Clinton, Maryland, Carol McKnight (Alfred) of Denver, Colorado, Helen Dixon (Montaege) and Julia Bryant both of Ayden; 21 GRANDCHILDREN; 12 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; 4 BROTHERS, Carlyle "Nick" Fox and Robert Fox (Novella) both of Hartsville, SC, Tillie Fox (Clara) of Bogart, Georgia and Herbert Fox (Carrie) of Athens,GA; 1 DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, Wanda Scott of Pollocksville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving their friends and guest at 1403 Tuscarora-Rhems Road, New Bern.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 01, 2010 from 1PM-6PM at Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West Street, New Bern and on Friday at the Chapel one hour prior to the service.

Homegoing Service will be held on Friday, April 02, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., with the Pastor Eugene Mason, Officiating. Interment will immediatley follow the service in the Scott Family Cemetery.
