Milton Fulcher - April 13, 2009

Milton "Milk Boy" Fulcher, 56, of Jacksonville, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 13, 2009 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

Milton was a 1970 graduate of Jacksonville High School and employed with Civil Service aboard Camp Lejeune for 33 years as a Disbursing Officer. He was a member of the United States Army having received numerous awars and commendations, including reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. As a member of Shekinah Glory Full Gospel Ministries, he served in numerous capacities including Ordained Deacon for over 12 years. He was a member of various social and relgious organizations throughout the region.

Milton was preceded in death by: his PARENTS, Moses Lee "Blue Cap" Fulcher and Lina Mae Henderson Fulcher; 1 SISTER, Margaret Lorraine Fulcher.

Deacon Fulcher will be forever cherished by: his WIFE of 28 years, Anna Pearl Fonville Fulcher of the home; 1 SON, Sheldron Fulcher of the home; 3 DAUGHTERS, Carmella Fulcher of the home, Naomi Lee (Kip) of Bamberg, Germany and Anfregwen Scott of Jacksonville; 1 GRANDDAUGHTER, LaNiyah Lee; 4 BROTHERS, Leslie Fulcher (Mattie), Ronnie Fulcher (Gwen) and Shawn Fulcher all of Jacksonville and Moseley Fulcher (Barbara) of Ohio; 4 SISTERS, Debra Milton (George), Celia Fulcher (Frank) and Rava Nell Salter all of Jacksonville and Moszellia White (O'Neal) of Fayetteville; MOTHER-IN-LAW, Mamie Fonville of Jacksonville; SPIRITUAL MOTHER, Marcinea Canady of Jacksonville; and a host of NEPHEWS, NIECES, other relatives, church members, neighbors and dear friends.

The family will be receiving friends at the residence.


Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 7-8 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Williamsburg Parkway, Jacksonville and on Thursday at the Headquarters Building one hour prior to the service.

Homegoing Service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 12 Noon in the Trent River Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters Building, 465 Georgetown Road, the Georgetown Community, Jacksonville, with the Rev. Roosevelt Baxter, Officiating and the Rev. Tony Credle, Eulogist. Interment with military honors will immediately follow the service in the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
